With my graduation open house behind me I now find myself spending my last week at home saying goodbye to family and friends and preparing for my trip. Six days from now I will be arriving in Georgia for orientation and the chance to meet my team in person for the first time! I am extremely excited, but as the time draws nearer I get more and more nervous for what's to come. I often find myself running through seemingly endless to-do and packing lists in my mind and jotting reminders for myself on practically every writing surface in my room. I fear forgetting things that I'll need and keeping my bag under the 50 pound limit.
Through all of my apprehension I am trying my best to simply trust God that I am ready for the adventure that I am about to set out on. He has been so faithful in bringing me to where I am and because of Him I am 100% funded for my Swaziland trip! Praise God!
I would ask that you would keep me in your prayers as I continue to prepare myself for what God has for me. Also, please pray for my team members that I still seeking to be completely funded and pray for safe travels for all of us. With a third winter blizzard on the way I can only pray that there will be no flight delays or cancelations.
